Out with the old…

I decided to celebrate the coming of spring this year, as opposed to my usual routine of angrily muttering to myself as I hide in my house and prepare to crank the AC for the coming months of summer.

To celebrate, I decided to give my blog a makeover! Meet my new background, playlist, aaaaaand… Okay, that’s it. Yep.

What do you think? I rather like it! It took a long time to decide on a color, but I decided on purple. It was tough though! (oh, and the border around pictures from previous posts won’t really go away. I’ll try to fix it soon!)

A list, because I like them!

I have this obsession with making lists. It’s one of my favorite parts of starting to write a book – making lists and lists about the characters. Daydreams, favorite foods, favorite people, their 7-step plans for world domination… (I do actually do that for characters, even if they’re nice. Who doesn’t have a plan for world domination?…)
So, because of this obsession, I was overcome with happiness when a friend told me that I should make a list of 10 things that make me happy. A list about me! Ingenious! I love lists, and I love me, so it’s brilliant!

5. Writing
6. Cooking!
7. My other hobbies, like photography, drawing, playing the piano and the guitar (though I don't play the latter well, I just play it…)
8. Reading
9. My pets!
10. Dancing (another one that I enjoy, but don’t do very well!)
There we go! That was my list, and boy, did I have fun making it! Although, I think it might be slightly more fun to make them for my characters…
