A friend of mine on NaNoWriMo has Tumblr, and she’s shared several Harry Potter tidbits and pictures, so I thought I’d share, so my head doesn’t implode whilst I wait for midnight (well, 40 minutes past midnight, to be exact).
I loved these pictures, showing them kiddos through the years… Ah, yes, ‘them kiddos’.
I’m gonna post like, a million more times tonight. I have to stave off the possibility of my head imploding…

Harry Potter
Tonight, at the stroke of midnight, is the beginning of the end. Then… it ends. Well, the series of movies ends. I suppose that Harry Potter never really ends, seeing as I’m one of the many who absolutely loves it.
I’m watching some of the movies today. I was going to watch all of them, but I don’t have time for that =( Either way, I’ve started with the first, then I think I’m gonna jump to 5, and watch 6 and 7 after.
I came across a quiz that you’re supposed to answer one of the questions a day on your blog for 25 days. I was going to do that, but I had Jubilee and Girls’ Camp right as it should’ve been starting, so… I decided that I’d do it all at once. YAY!
1. Favorite book?
That’s a toughie for me… I’d have to say either 3 or 7.
2. If you could take any class that they offer at Hogwarts, what would it be?
Defense Against the Dark Arts!
3. What’s your Quidditch position?
Chaser.
4. Favorite Harry Potter pick-up line?
“Did you survive the Killing Curse? Because you’re drop dead gorgeous.” (I burst out laughing when I first read that one…)
5. What’s your wand made out of? What’s the core?
Teak, 15 inches, with a dragon heartstring core. (yes, I own a wand.)
6. Favorite movie?
3 or 4.
7. You’ve graduated Hogwarts, passed your NEWTS – now what?
Use my mad magical skills to experiment with the culinary arts. It would be AMAZING! Culinary dark arts? Oh, yeah!
8. Severus Snape – good guy who did bad, or bad guy who did good?
Definitely good guy. Snape is awesome!
9. Favorite Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher?
I’d have to say either Lupin or Mad-Eye. And by Mad-Eye, I mean Barty Crouch Jr. disguised as Mad-Eye. Because, Barty Crouch Jr. is played by David Tennant in the movies. And that, my friend… IS SMEPIC!
10. If you had the choice, which Hallow would you choose?
The cloak, of course. It would probably be my choice anyways, but after the book pointed out the consequences that came from the others, it’s hard to pick any of them but the cloak!
11. What would you see in the Mirror of Erised?
Me. Playing the bagpipes. Nuff’ said.
12. Favorite line/passage?
Alright, I can’t just pick a favorite! This is just one of my favorites, but I love the part in Order of the Phoenix, with the article in the Quibbler theorizing that Sirius might actually be Stubby Boardman, lead singer of the popular singing group, the Hobgoblins. It cracks me up every single time I read it.
13. What Hogwarts house do you belong to?
Ravenclaw!
14. What would you do if you had an invisibility cloak?
Uh, steal cookies? Yes. I would steal cookies. Because sometimes, my ninja abilities just aren’t good enough.
15. Have you ever named a pet/something after something Harry Potter-related? If so, what? If not, would you?
Yes, actually! I had a chinchilla named Hermione! And, my current cell phone is named Norbert (well, it’s full name is Sir Norbert Gigglepuss, but we shan’t go into that). So, yes!
16. Favorite fan art/fanfic/fan something?
Well, I’ve seen lots of good ones, but this picture is so random, and I laugh every time I see it…
17. Who’s your Quidditch team?
The Hollyhead Harpies, of course!
18. You’re an Animagus – what animal do you turn into and why?
Chinchilla, because they’re so fluffy! And cute. And they can jump really high. But mostly because they’re cute and fluffy.
19. What shape does your Patronus take?
A ferret. Be afraid xD
20. One piece of Harry Potter/Hogwarts clothing/merch you have or want?
Well, I do own a lot of HP stuff… My wand is probably my favorite.
21. Favorite Harry Potter character?
It’s a tie between Luna, Neville, Tonks, and Hermione. I just can’t pick one!
22. It’s the 2nd task of the Triwizard Tournament – who do you have to save?
Ruffles, of course!
23. How would a Boggart appear to you?
A spider. I HATE SPIDERS SO MUCH. They’re so nasty. I freak out so bad whenever I see one!
24. Favorite Harry Potter-related song?
I don’t really have one… /embarrassed
25. If you could have ONE thing from the wizarding world be real, what would it be and why?
Um, well, Hogwarts. Duh.
So, yeah. Here’s to our years of enjoying Harry Potter. *drinks some pumpkin juice* I can’t wait to see the final installment in the epic series. Now, I’m off to go take a nap so I can actually stay awake whilst we attend our 12:40 showing tonight. (last time, there was a girl next to me who fell asleep for like, two thirds of the movie xD)
So, yeah.
