HIIIIIIIII
Life has been pretty crazy lately; schoolwork, writing, and just general randomness. On an awesome note, I'm really close to being done with Personal Progress! I just need to finish my last two projects - Integrity and Divine Nature. I'm so excited! It makes me really happy that I'll be able to say that I've accomplished this, not to mention that it'll someday score me serious points with my future husband whenever I meet him ^_^ I'm excited to start over and do the whole thing again. I think I'm going to get my Honor Bee first, but... I'll keep working at it. So excited =D
We've had some fun happenings in YWs; our presidency got released! Sister Burchett, who has been president for about 6 years, and even through a ward split. I really loved having her as my president for 3 years, and I'll miss her a lot, but I have to admit... I'm really excited about our new one! Her name is Sister McIvyer, and she is so much fun. I got to ride home from the dance a couple weeks ago with her, two of the Laurels, and one of my best friends (who's also a Mia Maid). It was so ridiculously fun! It's been really exciting to have a change in regime, even though it was still awesome before.
Lissie and I had our birthday party a couple weeks ago. As best friends, we don't let the fact that our birthdays are a month apart dissuade us from having a joint party. So, even though my birthday was back in September, and Lissie's birthday was a few weeks ago, we finally had a party. On 11/11/11. And no, it wasn't actually on purpose xD We had so much fun, and coincidentally, we only had homeschoolers attend, even though we invited like, 3 public schoolers. It was awesome! I'll do a full post about it soon.
Lemme see... What else? AHA! YES! We just got 2 new guinea pigs =3 They're really sweet - two sisters. And they're gonna hopefully have babies in a few months. Their names are River & Melody (who we call Mels), and they are sooooo cute. I love 'em both ^_^
Well, I'm gonna go play with the theme now, so... TTFN!

Try again…
Sometimes, when writing a book, after proudly looking onto your work, you become rather crestfallen when you realize how awful it is. So, you simmer in denial for 2 weeks, until painful realizing that your 15,000+ words are utter rubbish, and must be rewritten.
Sometimes, I hate writing.
Yet, I keep doing it. Why? Because I LURVE IT! Duh. Stupid question. Why’d you even ask?!
So, I’m stuffing my document in the back recesses of my computer, pondering on what needs changing, and doing a complete rewrite on the 1/4 of my story that I have so far.
At least it’s comforting that it’s all for the better, and that my story will only end up better. I just hope that I don’t have to do very many more rewrites! xP
Thanks for reading my rambling!

New theme!
Yes, another new theme. While I loved the last one, it wasn’t cooperating, and after having it for quite awhile, I tried to take a look at it to fix it… No such luck.
So, with all hope lost, I began to look through the Blogger themes on the template designer. None of them looked interesting, until I found one. It was pretty dang cute. BUT THEN… I found pandas.
HOW CAN I RESIST THE PANDAS?!
Long story short… I can’t.
So, thus, I ended up with this new super adorable theme, and a renewed sense of joy in blogging. Also, I’m starting to set reminders so I might actually remember that I have a blog… /awkward
So, now, I can edit posts again, and you can all comment once again, and post your rants against me… (trolls.)
Enjoy. ^_^

Back to Blogging
So, the past weeks have been a bit mad. Well, actually, it was boring until recently, and then everything turned mad. See, my best friend in the whole wide world, Ruffles, went to Utah on a like, 3-week road trip, leaving me behind here, to hold down the fort. Therefore, I was really bored. Also, her being gone meant that she neglected her duties as my game beta-tester. Really, all I’m trying to say here is… DON’T YOU EVER GO TO UTAH AGAIN, RUFFLES.
Anywho, continuing on… Oh, then I had family in town, which was fun, but chaotic. And then, I had one of my cousins stay with us for a few days, until we went down to visit the family that had just visited us, for the 8th birthday of another one of my cousins, which is the age in which kids are baptized in our church. We had a lot of fun, and it was really fun to see how big all my cousins are getting. They’re all getting so big!
Which brings me to my next subject… I’m gonna be old soon. Well, older, at any rate. My 15th birthday is next month. I’m super excited, but at the same time absolutely terrified. So… fun times!
As far as covering my ongoing projects goes, I’ve been getting a fair bit of progress. I’ve got 3 main things I’m trying to work on right now…
1. Personal Progress – I’m trying to be done with the Young Women’s Personal Progress program (for church) by November. Ideally, I’d love to be done by my birthday, but I think I don’t want to rush quite that much. I’m well over half-way done, so I can totally do it by November ^_^ I’M SO EXCITED!
2. Rhydion’s Quest – This is my computer game that I’ve been working on for… well, a year. I started it last August. Wow. And I thought I would be done with the whole thing by January xD I’m almost done with Part I of the game. I just need Ruffles to help me beta test, and then I WILL BE FINISHED! Then, I just, you know… need to finish part II. Heh.
3. My novel – Ah, yes. A definite work-in-progress. I’m really excited about it, and I know generally where I want my story to go, but I’m really struggling getting a full plot planned out. I’m hoping to be able to write two books of it, so we’ll see how it all goes! I’m currently at 16,000 words, and I’m not hitting any major blocks like I normally do at this point. So… yay! I’m sure they’ll come later on, but for now, I’m happy. I really love writing! And I just do it for the fun of it. The idea of my stuff being good enough to get published makes me laugh. But, maybe someday, years from now, if I just keep on writing… Who knows?
I’m super excited for fall & winter to be coming, and I am SO DONE with summer! We’re about to break the record of most days over 100 degrees. This sickens me. I just want it to be cold! I’ve been finding all my cute winter clothes, and I’m so excited for it to be freezing outside. I need it to be Christmas =(
So, anyways… That’s my life right now. Not very thrilling, but oh well. I don’t care ^_^
Stay awesome,
Kyr

So, I promise that I’ll get back to blogging like normal soon. I’ve been busy/gone this past week. I had family in town, and now I’m going out of town this weekend. So, I’ll try really hard to get back on track once this is all over ^_^ (SOON.)

I defy the lack of post on Sunday.
(yeah, the title was my own variation on a slight HP reference…)
Today in YW’s, we had a really cool lesson on forgiveness. We’ve had a couple different lessons on it in the past few weeks, but this one was a bit different, and I really enjoyed it – it was about forgiving yourself.
It seems like sometimes, a long time after we’ve repented and we feel like the Lord has forgiven us, we still feel guilty. We took the steps to make it better, but we still feel bad. That’s often because we missed a step – forgiving ourselves. And oftentimes, that can be the hardest part of repenting. In class, we discussed a couple reasons why it’s so hard. One thing we all agreed on is that we know exactly how much reasoning (or lack thereof) went into it. We always remember it, and so it’s hard for us to let go of that. But, the longer we keep a sin, the more it hurts. So often, if we just step forward and let the Lord help us, it would be so much easier. Even though Satan wants us to think differently, our Savior is always there for us, and He is always willing to help us, as long as we’re willing to do what it takes to make it better. Satan wants us to think that for many things, there is no going back. There is no solution to our problems, and that no one can help us. But that’s not true!
“Behold, he who has repented of his sins, the same is forgiven, and I, the Lord, remember them no more.” (D&C 58:42)
Heavenly Father loves us. Jesus Christ loves us. They’re willing to do wonderful things for us if we live up to the standards that we’re given.
At the end of the lesson, we summed up what your course of action should be when you sin – regret, repent, forgive yourself, and move on. Don’t mull over the problem once you’ve gained forgiveness from:
- the Lord,
- anyone who you’ve wronged
- yourself
If you do spend time afterwards in constant regret, you can distract yourself from living righteously and happily. In class, we read this story from our YW’s manual that I really enjoyed the moral of:
“Sometime ago I talked with a woman 53 years of age who had committed a moral transgression at age 18. She understood that her sin was very serious, but because she had repented a thousand times we can depend on the Lord’s promise that He had forgiven her. But she had never forgiven herself. Because she felt unclean and inferior, she withdrew from her friends, refused to marry, and became a kind of social and spiritual recluse. For 35 years she downgraded herself with bitter regrets and accusations. Her life of looking back upon her sin has turned her into something far below the wonderful person that God intended her to be. Her sin at age 18 was very serious. But for 35 years she has been adding to her sin by wasting the most valuable thing in the world, which is a splendid human life” (What Doth It Profit [Salt Lake City: Bookcraft, 1965], p. 183).
The Lord wants us to keep on living our lives after we’ve repented. He put us down here to live! He knows that we’ll make mistakes, and He made a way for us to have a clean start so that we can continue on, growing closer to him along the way.
I’m so glad that we have repentance because without it, we wouldn’t be able to return to Heavenly Father! I’m so thankful for the Atonement, and the knowledge that I have of it, and it’s effect on my life. And I’m so happy that I know that Heavenly Father does (and always will) love me enough to forgive me when I do something wrong. And I know that once He has forgiven me, and I’ve forgiven myself, that I can continue on my way and strive to do better.
I really enjoyed the lesson, and I’m so glad I have an awesome teacher. She always teaches the lesson in such a way that I can always go home and think about it.
I hope that you have an awesome Sunday. It’s one of my favorite days of the week, and I really love the special opportunities to ponder on the gospel and think about stuff. I hope that you enjoy it, too.

Pause!
We now interrupt your regular broadcasting to bring you…
ICE CREAM!
Okay… Back to flooding my blog with my regular broadcasting for the evening.
*salutes*
I’ll be back.
HP, 7 years
A friend of mine on NaNoWriMo has Tumblr, and she’s shared several Harry Potter tidbits and pictures, so I thought I’d share, so my head doesn’t implode whilst I wait for midnight (well, 40 minutes past midnight, to be exact).
I loved these pictures, showing them kiddos through the years… Ah, yes, ‘them kiddos’. Good times, good times…
I’m gonna post like, a million more times tonight. I have to stave off the possibility of my head imploding…
*poosh!*
Oh, there it went! I guess I’ll post anyways. *shrugs*

Harry Potter
Tonight, at the stroke of midnight, is the beginning of the end. Then… it ends. Well, the series of movies ends. I suppose that Harry Potter never really ends, seeing as I’m one of the many who absolutely loves it.
I’m watching some of the movies today. I was going to watch all of them, but I don’t have time for that =( Either way, I’ve started with the first, then I think I’m gonna jump to 5, and watch 6 and 7 after.
I came across a quiz that you’re supposed to answer one of the questions a day on your blog for 25 days. I was going to do that, but I had Jubilee and Girls’ Camp right as it should’ve been starting, so… I decided that I’d do it all at once. YAY!
1. Favorite book?
That’s a toughie for me… I’d have to say either 3 or 7.
2. If you could take any class that they offer at Hogwarts, what would it be?
Defense Against the Dark Arts!
3. What’s your Quidditch position?
Chaser.
4. Favorite Harry Potter pick-up line?
“Did you survive the Killing Curse? Because you’re drop dead gorgeous.” (I burst out laughing when I first read that one…)
5. What’s your wand made out of? What’s the core?
Teak, 15 inches, with a dragon heartstring core. (yes, I own a wand.)
6. Favorite movie?
3 or 4.
7. You’ve graduated Hogwarts, passed your NEWTS – now what?
Use my mad magical skills to experiment with the culinary arts. It would be AMAZING! Culinary dark arts? Oh, yeah!
8. Severus Snape – good guy who did bad, or bad guy who did good?
Definitely good guy. Snape is awesome!
9. Favorite Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher?
I’d have to say either Lupin or Mad-Eye. And by Mad-Eye, I mean Barty Crouch Jr. disguised as Mad-Eye. Because, Barty Crouch Jr. is played by David Tennant in the movies. And that, my friend… IS SMEPIC!
10. If you had the choice, which Hallow would you choose?
The cloak, of course. It would probably be my choice anyways, but after the book pointed out the consequences that came from the others, it’s hard to pick any of them but the cloak!
11. What would you see in the Mirror of Erised?
Me. Playing the bagpipes. Nuff’ said.
12. Favorite line/passage?
Alright, I can’t just pick a favorite! This is just one of my favorites, but I love the part in Order of the Phoenix, with the article in the Quibbler theorizing that Sirius might actually be Stubby Boardman, lead singer of the popular singing group, the Hobgoblins. It cracks me up every single time I read it.
13. What Hogwarts house do you belong to?
Ravenclaw!
14. What would you do if you had an invisibility cloak?
Uh, steal cookies? Yes. I would steal cookies. Because sometimes, my ninja abilities just aren’t good enough.
15. Have you ever named a pet/something after something Harry Potter-related? If so, what? If not, would you?
Yes, actually! I had a chinchilla named Hermione! And, my current cell phone is named Norbert (well, it’s full name is Sir Norbert Gigglepuss, but we shan’t go into that). So, yes!
16. Favorite fan art/fanfic/fan something?
Well, I’ve seen lots of good ones, but this picture is so random, and I laugh every time I see it…
17. Who’s your Quidditch team?
The Hollyhead Harpies, of course!
18. You’re an Animagus – what animal do you turn into and why?
Chinchilla, because they’re so fluffy! And cute. And they can jump really high. But mostly because they’re cute and fluffy.
19. What shape does your Patronus take?
A ferret. Be afraid xD
20. One piece of Harry Potter/Hogwarts clothing/merch you have or want?
Well, I do own a lot of HP stuff… My wand is probably my favorite.
21. Favorite Harry Potter character?
It’s a tie between Luna, Neville, Tonks, and Hermione. I just can’t pick one!
22. It’s the 2nd task of the Triwizard Tournament – who do you have to save?
Ruffles, of course!
23. How would a Boggart appear to you?
A spider. I HATE SPIDERS SO MUCH. They’re so nasty. I freak out so bad whenever I see one!
24. Favorite Harry Potter-related song?
I don’t really have one… /embarrassed
25. If you could have ONE thing from the wizarding world be real, what would it be and why?
Um, well, Hogwarts. Duh.
So, yeah. Here’s to our years of enjoying Harry Potter. *drinks some pumpkin juice* I can’t wait to see the final installment in the epic series. Now, I’m off to go take a nap so I can actually stay awake whilst we attend our 12:40 showing tonight. (last time, there was a girl next to me who fell asleep for like, two thirds of the movie xD)
So, yeah.
*snods*

Pooh’s Tues.
“When conversing with
Owls, remember that they
think it is rather beneath
them to talk about little
cake things with pink
sugar icing.”
New layout!
I’ve wanted to try a new layout for a little while now, but I didn’t want to, because all the cute ones I found weren’t big enough for my previously posted pictures to stay on the main column, since apparently the column on my purple striped layout was unusually wide.
But, then, I found this one entitled ‘Blue Damask’. First off, I have a thing for damask wallpaper. It’s just so Victorian, and so very steampunkable (… because that’s a word). And second – and this being the very fact that made me squee and my little fangirl head start spinning (you won’t care if you don’t watch Doctor Who, though) – IT LOOKS LIKE THE WALLPAPER IN AMY’S HOUSE! And, I mean, the entire title/web address of my site is a Doctor who reference, why not my theme, too!
I was gonna go for something brighter, but this was too awesome/pretty/geeky to pass up.
The problem being that it still freaks pictures out in previous posts, so over the next few days, I’m going to go through and try to resize all the pictures in my posts O_O It’s gonna take awhile. I tried to adjust the widths in Blogger’s template designer, but it won’t do it for this template =(
Oh, well. It’s gonna be worth it for this truly SMEPIC blog background (though I wish I could rid myself of that hideous orange advertising bit along the very top. Blue and orange is so nasty.)
We now return to your regular broadcasting.
May the odds be ever in your favor,
Kyr

I’M BACK.
Boo!
I have returned victorious… I’m not quite sure what I remain victorious from, but I guess surviving the heat of Texas in June/July counts for something.
I had quite a bit of fun, though it was a relief to get back from camp. I was really tired from Jubilee! But it was my BFF’s younger sister’s first year, so that was fun, though we hardly got to see her… It was weird.
Anyways, but I’m going to do posts soon about Jubilee, Girls’ Camp, and the 4th of July festivities that I got to take part in today (over 5 hours of playing Sardines. Oh, yeah.).
So, I’m not dead. That’s really the point of this post. I am not dead.
-Kyr, who is not dead.

Catch ya later!
Hey!
Guess where I’m going this morning?
Girl’s Camp.
So, I’m taking a break from blogging until I get back, which is until Friday. And then, when I manage to get ahold of people’s pictures, I will do posts on both Jubilee and Girls’ Camp.
BYE!

Things I Love Thursday
I’ve seen various other blogs do this sort of thing, so I decided that I wanted to start doing it, too!
• Oh, the Times and Places You'll Go (by Dr. Who) •
• Cupcake cars! •
• Victorian costumes = AWESOME •
Other things I love:
• when my dogs violently burrow their heads against me • the new Owl City album •
• going grocery shopping with my parents • roleplaying on NaNoWriMo • getting ready for Jubilee •
• when my dogs sit and watch me practice my guitar • buying pretty new notebooks •
• the smell of rain • practicing Owl City songs on the piano • going to Half-Price books •
• reading Adam Young’s Twitter • crocheting Amigurumi dolls • learning random Japanese phrases •
• building blanket forts with Lissie • straightening my hair for stake dances (like for tonight!) •
• sitting around in my PJs, watching movies with my mom •
That was actually pretty fun, thinking up that list…

Soon.
Tomorrow morning, I’m going to get up, do my chores, clean my room, and then my best friend is going to come over around lunchtime. We’ll spend a couple hours getting ready, and then…
Jubilee begins.
Right now, the feeling that I have is insane. It’s like I’m at the very tip of a rollercoaster – I have that same feeling of elation just as the rollercoaster goes over the edge. Whenever I think about it, excitement rushes through me, and I find myself giddy. I had a hard time going to sleep last night, just laying in bed, thinking about it. I can’t wait to see how much fun I have, how many new friends I make, and if I manage to horribly embarrass myself at any point. I hope not. I can totally see myself face-planting, especially seeing as I’m going to be one of the first ones onstage.
Well, best of luck to me, and especially to my Jubilant friends participating as well.
… And may the odds be ever in your favor!

Pooh’s Tues.
I’ve decided that to make blogging easier, but more consistent for me, I’ve decided to have specific days where I post specific things. Then, on the other days, I can post whatever I want, or nothing at all.
So, for Tuesday’s scheduled posts, I present the segments ‘Pooh’s Tues.’ (yes, I’m aware that doesn’t work if you actually count what ‘Tues’ is abbreviating xD).
I happen to love Winnie the Pooh. I don’t care that I’m almost 15. How does my age make something else less awesome? I’ll answer for you – it doesn’t!
So, every Tuesday, I will share a quote from Winnie the Pooh. When I was little, I received a book entitled ‘Pooh’s Little Instruction Book’ that has a lot of thoughts, quotes, and advice from Pooh and his friends. A lot of my quotes will be from it.
Awesome.
I love how nonsensical, amusing, yet wise Pooh can be, all at the same time. As I got older and continued to read the books, I realized that the entire world that they live in his actually very normal, but seen with the eyes of a child. The Hundred Acre Wood? I didn’t know what an acre was, so I just assumed it was some sort of nonsensical name. Now, I get it! So much stuff in it is like that, that it’s almost more fun to read it now than it was before…
So, here is our quote for the day:
“You can’t help respecting anybody who can spell Tuesday, even if he doesn’t spell it right.”

Fathers’ Day
Yay! It’s Fathers’ Day!
I’ve been looking through some old pictures, and thought that it would be fun to try and find pictures of my dad and I together. So, I found (roughly) one for every year. Although, I am missing some for a couple of years…
We shall begin.
1997 (okay, here’s a bit of a time jump…)
2005 (that’s us on the 4th of July, about to watch fireworks, after going to see Star Wars III at the theater for the 2nd time. That’s what’s with the shirts xD)
2010Here’s my dad and I at Scarborough Fair earlier this year…
Big difference from the first picture, eh? Plus, I have super puffy sleeves… Which is awesome.
I love you, Dad!

Angels
As you know if you read this blog/interact with me in any way, shape, or form, that I was super psyched about the new Owl City album coming out this past Tuesday.
Yes, I know that my most recent post included a song I like. And the one the day before that. WELL, TOO BAD! Because, I just wanted to share one of my favorite songs off All Things Bright and Beautiful. It’s entitled ‘Angels’, and it is seriously gorgeous.
In an interview that Adam Young did, talking about each of the songs, he talked about this one: “It says a lot about the fact, or to the idea, that there might be angels really around us, and the song talks about someone who’s sort of seeing these surreal, out-of-nowhere traces of what might be an angel.”
I really love the lyrics to this song, specifically the chorus:
Living close to the ground,
Is seventh heaven 'cause there are angels all around.
Among my frivolous thoughts,
I believe there are beautiful things seen by the astronauts.
And I love the very last part.
The indications reveal,
That few of us realize life is quite surreal,
So if you're dying to see,
I guarantee there are angels around your vicinity! So, if you're dying to see,
I guarantee there are angels around your vicinity.
I really like the idea of being a person who can just look around and see the beautiful things all around. It’s something that I’ve tried hard to work on in past months. And I’ve noticed that as I try to ignore the shadows of life, and try to focus on everything that makes me really happy, life is a much more joyous occasion. Because life is quite surreal.
I guarantee that there are angels around your vicinity. Take a look around!
Lots of love,
Kyr

Poetry
Even though I write really awesome poetry, I seriously enjoy real poetry. It’s one of my secret addictions =X (though, it isn’t so secret as of… right now.)
One of my all-time favorites is called ‘An Irish Airman Foresees His Death’. It’s basically about an Irish airman in World War I, who knows that he’s going to die flying. I shall share…
“I know that I shall meet my fate
Somewhere among the clouds above;
Those that I fight I do not hate,
Those that I guard I do not love;
My country is Kiltartan Cross,
My countrymen Kiltartan's poor.
No likely end could bring them loss
Or leave them happier than before.
Nor law, nor duty bade me fight,
Nor public men, nor cheering crowds.
A lonely impulse of delight
Drove to this tumult in the clouds;
I balanced all, brought all to mind -
The years to come seemed waste of breath.
A waste of breath, the years behind
In balance with this life, this death.”
It also doesn’t hurt that one of my favorite songs ever is based off this poem – in fact, that’s how I was introduced to it.
Yeah, I love it.

A Whovian’s new episode to-do list
Saturday night, 8pm. Every good Doctor Who fanatic knows what this is – a new episode, that’s what!
Sadly, the series is taking a mid-season summer break, and I now have a couple months to deal with the plot bomb they dropped on us. BUT I DON’T WANT A COUPLE MONTHS TO DEAL WITH IT!
For now, however, I will share my secrets to surviving a Saturday night Doctor Who viewing. Because… Well, I’m an amazing person.
To-Do List (to be begun at 7:40pm)
- Retrieve sonic screwdriver, video camera, and flashlight from bedside table.
- Confirm that all windows and doors to the outside are LOCKED.
- Walk through house cautiously, with tools in hand and video camera recording (in case of encounter with the Silence), turning each and every light on and being sure not to blink (in case of encounter with Weeping Angels, duh!).
- After ensuring that the house is clear of all monsters and dangerous creatures, settle down securely with all necessary defense equipment (recording devices, rewetting eye drops, cell phone, bow tie, fez, banana, and Converse).
- Enjoy your episode of Doctor Who, possibly getting creeped out to death. And if you do, you’ll be very grateful you have all those lights on =/
So, yeah. Good luck. *snods*
(2 hours, 45 minutes until All Things Bright and Beautiful releases! I’m not staying up though. I’m tired! First thing in the morning though. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! *passes out*)

Jubilee 2011!
For months, our ward has been preparing to take part in an 11-stake youth conference, that’ll be finished off with 3 performances of an awesome show. We’ve been learning dances and songs to perform, and it’s been crazy!
Well, it’s strange, because it’s so close right now. In only 11 days, it’ll be starting! I’m so excited. It’s such an amazing opportunity, and I’m so happy I get to take part in it. My best friend and I have been practicing the dances LOTS, and we’re both super excited. After church today, there was a meeting about it, and we got to hear about our schedule for each day, and what we need to bring, etc. I’m so excited! It’s gonna be just… amazing.
So, I’ll definitely be posting about it – don’t worry!
Lots o’ love,
Kyr
(Tuesday is when the new Owl City album comes out!!! I’M SO EXCITED!!!!)

Last one for the day.
Apparently, I’m in a blogging mood today.
Well, here’s my last post of the day, and something that I can scarcely stop thinking about…
(hey, look – it’s my desktop background!)
THE NEW OWL CITY ALBUM!
I feel like my little head is gonna implode if I have to wait any longer. O.o *twitch twitch*
2 weeks. 2 weeks. I can make it. 2 weeks. I can do it.
Oh, and it’s official. My arms are super sunburned, too.

(‘14 days left’ background paper by Summer Driggs. I love her digital scrapbooking kits! But my mom is the one who bought them =X Heh.)
Ouch.
So, I had lots of fun today. We swam for like, over 3 hours. It was fun to hang out with all my friends, and get to celebrate SUMMER, though it’s getting hot enough that (outside of the pool) none of us feel like celebrating.
Like right now.
I, unfortunately, relearned the consequences of not reapplying sunscreen…
(sorry for the quality… wimpy webcam!)
Yeah. Great way to celebrate the start of summer! Hopefully, it’s not a bad omen… xD
On a happy note, while searching (unsuccessfully…) for a one-piece swimsuit at Target, Kohl’s, and Walmart, I found this AWESOME shirt:
So, either Eeyore has made me incredibly intense, or my sunburn has given me the Space Madness. One or the other. I’m just not sure.
Farewell.

Sense
Today is the last day of the homeschool co-op that I go to. We’re having our normal classes, then… WE’RE GOIN’ SWIMMING! Unfortunately, I only have my ill-fitting swimsuit from last year, seeing as my new swimsuit won’t be here until mid-June =( Meh. Oh, well.
I better go get ready (… I’m in my PJs still)… I just wanted to let you know that I hadn’t been erased from the space-time continuum. In conclusion, I’d like to share an especially smepic picture with you:

Lots of Randomness
Heh. So much for blogging every day.
Well, I don’t want you to feel neglected, but I don’t really have anything to talk about, so… CUE THE RAMBLING!
Have you heard who got cast as Cinna in the Hunger Games movie? Yeah, this dude:
Lenny Kravitz is not Cinna. I REFUSE TO ACCEPT IT! I admit, I wanted Hugh Dancy to play him (he’s just who I imagined in my head), but I would’ve been good with any number of people. Cillian Murphy would’ve been awesome too, though he would have been different from what I imagined. I DON’T CARE, JUST TELL ME THAT THEY’RE KIDDING!
You know what I’m craving right now?
Chocolate-covered pretzels. OH YEAH. It sounds really delicious right now! But, we have no pretzels. Nor chocolate. Nor any of those delicious looking sprinkles, though they aren’t necessarily required. Either way, I have none of the components, so I’ll just have to make due for now.
I picked up this little beauty at Joann’s earlier today, and I have enjoyed a lot! It’s really fun. It has pages that are partially structured, but that you fill in the rest. Like so:
I can see so many afternoons being scribbled away with this book…
In conclusion, here’s a random picture of me. I was sick, so I was laying around in my pajamas, and so I went and got some glasses out of my dress-up tub, so that I could feel real snazzy. I did feel real snazzy.
Wow, I can’t believe that I just posted that picture. *grimaces*
BYE-BYE! *waves enthusiastically*

Bored.
So, I got bored yesterday, so this is what I did:
In other news, I… nope. Don’t really have anything to say. Except for the random fact that I’ve been craving apple pie all week. IT’S CRAZY-MAKING! I want apple pie SOOOO BAD!
Well, I posted today, so YAY! Ha. Take that.
No, I’ll keep talking… Well, I’ve made a goal to be done with Personal Progress (a program for the teen girls of my church) by November – a year early! I’m having a fun time doing it, and I’m excited to finish… SO I CAN DO IT AGAIN! xD It’s gonna be smepic. Oh, yeah!
Okay, well… that was fun. Sorry for the short post! I haven’t much to say, but want to get back to posting once a day.
The end.

Smepic.
One of my friends on the NaNoWriMo YWP shared this with me a few weeks ago, and though I know many of you have seen it, I had to share.
Julian Smith rules. That’s it.

(And for those wondering, ‘smepic’ is a NaNoWriMo term. It was a nickname for one user, but it’s since evolved into an even epic-er (?) version of ‘epic’. Spread the word. *snods*)
(… ‘snods’ is a NaNo word, too.)
(… yeah. I spend too much time on NaNo.)

SO. PRETTY.
Oh, hi.
Yes, I am aware that I pretty much fell off the face of the internet. I keep on not being able to think of anything to blog about, but, I’ve thought of something…
Garden parties. Oh, yes. Garden parties. Specifically, ones that look GORGEOUS! Like, these:
Mind you, I’ve never actually attended a garden party, but after viewing these pictures (and many more), I sure hope someone invites me to one!
Ladies and gentlemen, I believe I have the theme for my next birthday party. (DIBS!)
