So... The title sounds a bit self-centered, eh? ... Yeah. But I'm not gonna change it.
Because THIS is where I get to talk about ME!
So, so, so... ME. Where to begin? We'll talk about the 4 major elements that define a Kyrie (such as myself). In other words, what do I spend all my time thinking about?
a) The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
There is absolutely nothing as important to me as my religion. I love it so much! I look forward to church every Sunday, love going to the youth activities, and completely love living the standards that I'm taught. I love the happiness that I have when I'm living how I know I should be, and I love the people around me who encourage me to do it. I love sharing my light with everyone around me, and giving the secret to why I am so dang happy all the time =D
2) Doctor Who
The amazing, long-running sci-fi series. I've only watch the seasons that have aired since the show was revived in 2005, but I am a complete and faithful fanatic of them. (this next bit will sound like pretty much complete gibberish) My favorite Doctor is the 10th (David Tennant for the win!), and my favorite companion is either Donna or Amy. Favorite season is 4. Favorite episode? I have several. I love The Christmas Invasion, Smith and Jones, Human Nature/Family of Blood, Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead, Turn Left/Stolen Earth/Journey's End, Waters of Mars, The Eleventh Hour, The Beast Below, and A Christmas Carol...
However, on reflection, I think that the winner would be Vincent and the Doctor. I truly adore that episode, which is funny, because when it aired, I was very neutral on it. But, because of it, I got Van Gogh's sunflower painting for Christmas, I now --jokingly-- go back and forth from pronouncing it 'Van Go-gh' (weird German, throat-y 'gh') and 'Van Goph'. Thank you, Doctor Who!
5) Keane
Ah, yes. One of the main holders of my obsessive mind. Comprised of Tom Chaplin, Tim Rice-Oxley, Richard Hughes, and (the very recent official addition) Jesse Quin, Keane is one of the most amazing bands in existence. That would explain the playlist on the side of my blog =) My mom and I began our obsession when Blake Lewis sang one of their big songs, Somewhere Only We Know, during his time on American Idol. So, my mom looked up the rest of their music, and so it began! I frequent keanemusic.com, and am constantly singing their songs. I LOVE KEANE!
42) Cupcakes
Yeah, it began in mid-January 2011 (so like, it's been like, 3 weeks as I'm writing this). We were at our homeschool co-op, and we were making cute cards. My mom --who was heading the project-- had this REALLY cute new cupcake punch, so I tried it. Then, alllllll day, I could only think about it (oh yeah, and how much my mouth hurt due to some current orthodontic equipment). So, I began obsessing, and it's been a rollercoaster of cupcakes for the past weeks. I have been diagnosed (by my BFF!) with Chronic Cupcake Obsessive Disorder. The cure? There is no cure. There is only... CUPCAKES!
So, soon, I'll probably update this page with more about ME (there's no other way to type it, except all caps), and everything I love!
TA!
