Pooh’s Tues.

I’ve decided that to make blogging easier, but more consistent for me, I’ve decided to have specific days where I post specific things. Then, on the other days, I can post whatever I want, or nothing at all.

So, for Tuesday’s scheduled posts, I present the segments ‘Pooh’s Tues.’ (yes, I’m aware that doesn’t work if you actually count what ‘Tues’ is abbreviating xD).

I happen to love Winnie the Pooh. I don’t care that I’m almost 15. How does my age make something else less awesome? I’ll answer for you – it doesn’t!

So, every Tuesday, I will share a quote from Winnie the Pooh. When I was little, I received a book entitled ‘Pooh’s Little Instruction Book’ that has a lot of thoughts, quotes, and advice from Pooh and his friends. A lot of my quotes will be from it.

Awesome.

I love how nonsensical, amusing, yet wise Pooh can be, all at the same time. As I got older and continued to read the books, I realized that the entire world that they live in his actually very normal, but seen with the eyes of a child. The Hundred Acre Wood? I didn’t know what an acre was, so I just assumed it was some sort of nonsensical name. Now, I get it! So much stuff in it is like that, that it’s almost more fun to read it now than it was before…

So, here is our quote for the day:

“You can’t help respecting anybody who can spell Tuesday, even if he doesn’t spell it right.”

  1. As a child I thought the 'acre' was some kind of tree. You know, you have your maples, your oaks, and your acres. So I thought that in that wood there were 100 trees, and they were all 'acre' trees =D

Yo, this is the Indian-Russian Parade Planning Committee Headquarters. My name is *mumbles*. If you understood that, I have to kill you now.

Kyrie thanks you for leaving a comment, and says that if you're mean, she'll send bounty hunters after you. She's buddies with Boba Fett, you know.
